Hello!

I'm an illustrator based on the Dorset coast with a deep passion for children's picture books and visual arts. Using traditional mediums like dip pens, inks, pastels and watercolours in my work, I enjoy the unpredictability, uniqueness, colours and textures of a variety of traditional materials. Collage making is my go-to remedy for creative blocks and a source of pure enjoyment (if there are missing pages in your magazine then it’s probably me).

Elements of nature, the seashore and urban landscapes all inspire my work. I like to include underlying playful themes and details from micro to macro.  In my spare time I enjoy printmaking, reading thrillers, exploring and travelling overseas, and learning about different cultures and languages. I love rummaging for inspirational ephemera in vintage shops and visiting galleries and museums. I like tea, cake and stripey tops.
